As a cutting-edge fitness studio, we are dedicated to the six Pilates Principles and six Primal Movements (in fact, that’s what inspired our name!). Together, the Pilates Principles and Primal Movements determine how we structure your personal workout.

Meet Our Team

Alyssa Weishaar

Alyssa Weishaar

Owner & Head Coach

With more than ten years of industry experience, Alyssa is a certified master Pilates and strength training instructor, with cross-training in Ashiatsu and Swedish massage therapy and nutrition. She is a former competitive gymnast.

Alyssa’s expertise is in helping clients recover their natural balance and build core strength. While firmly rooted in building strong foundations, no two classes with Alyssa are alike, as she brings innovative and adaptive techniques to ensure positions are incredibly efficient for each, individual client. A renaissance woman when it comes to training methodologies and practices, she is especially adept at working with clients who are overcoming physical challenges, helping to improve movement patterns and increase muscle tone.

Karen Mallouk

Pilates Instructor

As a teenager, Karen turned to sports and fitness as a stress reliever and method to live fully. In 2012, Karen majored in Physical Education (EF) at the Methodist University of São Paulo. In 2013 she earned a postgraduate course in Specialization in Physiology and Biomechanics of the Musculoskeletal System Rehabilitation and Training at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Institute of the Medical School of the University of São Paulo. In addition, she also completed coursework and a Certification from Voll Pilates Institute.

Karen had the opportunity to work with a variety of people counseling them on important health and nutrition issues. After experiencing her first Pilates class, Karen discovered a connection between body and mind that spawned her passion for Pilates. It has now become her lifestyle!
